English Premier League club Arsenal are reported to have joined a host of clubs for the signature of Reading youngster Michael Olise having attracted interest with his eye-catching performance.

Michael Olise was a revelation for reading in the last campaign. His performance did not go unnoticed and that has continued this term as he has featured in the games so far.

Wolves and Leeds United are the two clubs the North London outfit will have to battle with for the signature of the 18-year-old as they are believed to be in the front row.

There is no doubt that Michael Olise has been pencilled down as a player for the future at the Emirates Stadium and will, therefore, begin with the youth team before finding his feet in the first team.

There is a lot of competition in the Mikel Arteta team at the moment which makes it difficult for younger players to make the starting eleven. This is the same reason why the Spanish boss has not played William Saliba so far this season.

Mikel Arteta is of the opinion that William Saliba still has a lot to do in adapting with the way of playing at the Emirates Stadium, the rhythm, as well as the physicality.
