Manchester United have been offered the opportunity to sign Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr according to reports from 90min after Liverpool ended their interest in the player.
Ismaila Sarr was a Premier League player until the end of the last campaign when his Watford side suffered relegation.
The Independent had earlier revealed last week that both Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in the Senegalese international.
The Reds were in pole position to sign the 22-year-old until Watford quoted over £50m as his transfer fee and that £40m should be paid as the initial fee for the deal.

The Premier League champions opted to sign Portuguese international Diogo Jota from Wolves in a £45m deal.
With Liverpool out of the picture as far as the signing of Ismaila Sarr is concerned thus leaving Manchester United with the opportunity to sign the former Rennes attacker.
Watford signed Ismaila Sarr from Rennes in a £30m deal.
Sarr could be the answer to Manchester United’s problems on the right wing.
He scored five goals and also provided six assists in 22 starts in the colours of Watford in his first season as a Premier League player.
Sarr is easily Watford’s prized asset and he’s expected to leave the club in this transfer window.
