Leeds United are reported to be monitoring the situation with Man United winger Daniel James and will make an attempt to snap him up if he is available for sale in this summer transfer window.

Daily Star Sunday claims that should he become surplus to the requirement under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Leeds United will take up that opportunity to make a move for him as they are interested in his service.

Daniel James only joined Man United from Swansea City in 2018 and there have been controversial ratings of the player, despite his speed and quality which makes him linked with a move away from the club.

However, much of his potential is yet to be seen at Man United but there are already moves by the club to bring in another winger in this summer transfer window with Jadon Sancho as the top target.

While a deal for Jadon Sancho is proving very difficult, it is understood that the Red Devils will still sign a winger this window as an alternative.

After suffering a 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace on Saturday, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that his team will have to make more signings to be able to win.
