French football news specialist Julien Laurens has confirmed that Arsenal are planning to make a bid for Lyon star Houssem Aouar and that this would be possible after the exit of Lucas Torreira.
According to him, Arsenal will have to sell players before they can commit a huge sum of money on Houssem Aouar.
Lyon skipper Aouar is available for a transfer at the right price.
Gunners midfielder Lucas Torreira is attracting interest from Italian Serie A clubs and his transfer will open up a space in the Arsenal midfield and also provide funds.

The North Londoners have set their asking price at £22m for Lucas Torreira.
Italian clubs like Torino, Fiorentina and AC Milan have all been linked with the 24-year-old but it looks like his destination could be in Turin.
He’s on course to link up with former manager Marco Giampaolo at Torino. Both parties worked together at Sampdoria.
Torino are ready to meet the asking price set by the Gunners for their transfer target but they are not ready to pay it at once. The Italians have reportedly offered a loan deal for the player with the obligation to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the loan contract.
