Former Arsenal stars, Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott are reportedly set to be offloaded from Merseyside outfit Everton before the end of the summer transfer window.
Both players have not been able to prove their worth at the club as they were both absent in the season’s opener. Alex Iwobi was not listed on the team’s squad for the game.
Everton are hoping to get rid of the two players from their books after shelling out big money to recruit them. They will now need to adjust by forcing some of the high-earning players away in order to gain their financial balance as they are also being affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Alex Iwobi joined the Toffees for a fee of £40 million but is yet to make an impact at Goodison while nothing more can be said of Theo Walcott who joined the club in January 2018 under Sam Allardyce.
However, the slimming down of the team is not peculiar to Everton alone as Arsenal are also making moves to do the same to be able to sanction other deals.
Emi Martinez is the first to leave the Emirates Stadium within the region of £20 million and more players are expected to sign out before October 5.
