FC Porto Approve £18m Deal For Alex Telles

Portuguese Champions FC Porto have approved the transfer fee required to sign left-back Alex Telles from the club according to popular Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
Brazilian international Alex Telles is available for a transfer this summer with less than a year left on his existing FC Porto contract.
Portuguese media outlet O Jogo revealed that the imminent transfer of Sergio Reguilon to Tottenham Hotspur has paved the way for Manchester United to make a move for Alex Telles.

Manchester United were favourites to sign Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid before fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur hijacked the deal.
Spurs were able to meet the two major clauses in the Sergio Reguilon deal, while Manchester United rejected those clauses.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sign a new left-back this summer and Alex Telles could be his final destination after missing out on options like Ben Chilwell and the aforementioned Sergio Reguilon.
Alex Telles was involved in 25 goal contributions for FC Porto last season (12 goals and 13 assists) from his left-back position as he helped his team win the double (league and cup).
FC Porto had set a €30m transfer fee for him but that has been lowered to €20m according to A Bola.
