Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has ended speculation over his long-term future at the club after his contract extension was confirmed on Tuesday evening.
The club announced that he has penned a three-year contract that will take him to the end of the 2022/23 season.
According to TalkSports, the Arsenal skipper will earn a whopping £20m per year for his new contract. This means that Aubameyang will be paid a total salary of £60m over the course of the new three-year contract.
Gabonese international Aubameyang had less than one year to run on his Arsenal deal before the announcement of the new contract which makes him the highest paid player at the club potentially.
