Mikel Arteta, Arsenal manager has made frantic efforts to keep Ainsley Maitland-Niles at the club for more years but that is proving difficult by the day with the reports making rounds in the media.
It would be recalled that Ainsley Maitland-Niles was one of the players penned down by the Gunners hierarchy to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer and has been valued at £20 million but manager Mikel Arteta was able to convince the club of the importance of the youngster to the team at the present and in the future.

It is then, reported that the club hierarchy are considering a change of heart after his impressive display in the last competitive game but that could be changing with claims that the player is not sure he wants to stay at the club.
It is understood that Ainsley Maitland-Niles loves to be with the North London outfit but he is not willing to sacrifice his wish of first-team opportunity in the new season.
Wolves are believed to be monitoring the situation with the North London star and ready to make an improved bid of £20 million for the utility player after the £15 million bid was reportedly turned down some weeks ago.
