Lacazette breaks silence over speculations of his swap with Partey

This is the first time that Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette will be responding to the speculations that have flooded the media over his future at the Emirates Stadium.

Some reports claim that Alexandre Lacazette is unhappy at the Emirates Stadium after he was handed some bench roles in the last season and wants to leave the club while other reports claim the Gunners chief wants him to leave to be able to cash in from his signature.

All the reports also point to the fact that the North London outfit have offered him to Spanish LA Liga club Atletico Madrid to be able to bring in Thomas Partey this summer transfer window.

However, the player in his response claims he is unofficially aware of the reports and cannot act base on speculations but noted that he is not pleased if it is true.

According to him, the Gunners chiefs do not make a decision but the manager (Mikel Arteta) and he is confident that he has the Spanish boss’ trust to succeed at the club in the coming season.

Alexandre Lacazette still has two years left in his contract with the North London club and he has no intention to quit this early, knowing that Mikel Arteta has faith in him
