EPL: Why Josh King dreams of Man United transfer revealed

The biggest dream of Bournemouth striker Josh King is to have a move to Man United as his second spell at the Old Trafford this summer transfer window.

Josh King was a Red Devils player as a 16-year-old boy and was able to make two senior team appearances before he was sold out. No doubt he has grown up to become a man and that is expected to reflect on his game.

It would be recalled that Man United made an attempt for his signature in the last January transfer window but they failed to complete the deal before bringing in Nigerian international Odion Ighalo from China.

A report by The Athletic claims Josh King still dreams of a return to Man United and he is ready to make it happen by snubbing all the interests on the table for his signature.

However, Man United have been advised by pundits to sign a goal-scoring centre striker that will help them deliver their dream titles in the coming season.

The Red Devils are reportedly set to stick with France international Anthony Martial and are hoping to secure the signature of England international winger Jadon Sancho from German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.

Bournemouth star David Brooks will be the hottest player of the moment in the English Premier League as five clubs are reported to be interested in his chase.

Man United, Tottenham, Everton, Leicester City, and Liverpool are names amongst the club that are interested in the 23-year-old Wales international

It is understood that topflight clubs still have until Friday by 5 pm to complete deals within the domestic league which means a move from the Vitality Stadium is still very possible.

It is the wish of Bournemouth that David Brooks remain at the club but they could be forced to do so if any of the suitors are able to step forward with his £40 million asking price.

The fact that Bournemouth are already relegated to the Championship makes it very difficult to keep a player as David Brooks will prefer to remain in the Premier League.

So far, Bournemouth have lost most of their stars, including Nathan Ake, Aaron Ramsdale, and Callum Wilson since the end of last season and they are already preparing to leave.

Howbeit, it is unlikely that Man United will make a move for David Brooks again as they have enough options in their midfield, with the signing of Donny van de Beek from Ajax.

EPL: Will Man United still move in for Bournemouth duo?

Man United have been linked with the signature of Bournemouth stars David Brook and Josh King but there is yet to be any development on their interest with few days left to the end of the summer transfer window.

It has been a very long summer transfer window for the Red Devils for failing to secure the services of most of their targets. Ajax star Donny van de Beek is the only major signing made by Man United this summer window despite being linked with a long list of names.

However, the Manchester Evening News report that it is unlikely for the Red Devils to sign Josh King and David Brooks especially now that they are desperate to conclude a deal before the summer transfer window.

David Brooks scored seven goals in 33 appearances for the Cherries in the first season but spent was out to injury in most part of the last campaign. That might have limited the number of his suitors and might have convinced the Red Devils not to make a move for him.

The need for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the moment is a winger and a defender as that has been very difficult to come by especially with the rejection of their bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

Man United are reported to be leading in the race for the signature of David Brooks as they hope to add him to tier books before the end of the summer transfer market.

Manchester Evening News reports that a deal could be sealed in the coming weeks with the 23-year old also keen on a bigger opportunity following an impressive and consistent performance in the topflight for the past two seasons.

Leicester City have also shown interest in the signature of David Brooks but they seem to be abandoning his chase after securing the signature of Cengiz from the Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma to make Man United favourites.

With less than 2-years left to the end of his current contract, Bournemouth could take advantage of that to cash in from his sale as they are now aware that the Red Devils are desperate for new players despite winning their Carabao Cup game on Tuesday night.

Following their defeat in the opening game of the Premier League, Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that his team must do more in the recruitment of players before the summer window ends.

The Red Devils have only been able to add Donny van de Beek to their books this transfer window.
