New Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be eyeing a move for one of the forwards in the Premier League (PL).

The Daily Express claim that the Norwegian tactician wants to sign compatriot Joshua King when the transfer window reopens next week and the player could cost around £25m.

Joshua King is on the payroll of South Coast club Bournemouth in the Premier League at the moment and it remains to be seen whether they will sanction a move away from the club for the Norwegian international star.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to boost the forward options at his disposal with the addition of the aforementioned King.

The babyface assassin had no problems upfront in his first game in charge of the team as the Red Devils secured an emphatic 5-1 win at the home of Welsh side Cardiff City in what was a Matchweek 18 Premier League clash played on Saturday night.

Manchester United scored at least five goals in a league game for the first time in over five years to get Solskjaer’s reign off to a good start.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was named the interim Manchester United manager last week after Jose Mourinho was dismissed from his post as the permanent Red Devils on Tuesday.
