Man United have been able to make another summer transfer signing by sealing the signature of Atletico Madrid youngster Alejandro Garnacho.

The Red Devils have been able to achieve this feat by defeating Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund to his signature.

The 16-year-old started his youth career at Atletico Madrid but will now move ahead to the Old Trafford where he will continue his development. It is not sure if he will start with the first team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or will begin at the youth team.

Alejandro Garnacho has always stated that his idol was Cristiano Ronaldo and that must have played a big role in luring him to make the Red Devils choice ahead of Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.

While Real Madrid also had Cristiano Ronaldo in their team before now, their rivalry with Atletico Madrid made it very difficult to strike a deal.

However, Alejandro Garnacho will join Man United on a long-term deal of five years, according to Marca.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils have been doing well to equip their youth rank as they recently brought in Alvaro Fernandez from Madrid and Marc Jurado from Barcelona and they could be given the chance at smaller competitions.
