The Evening Standard has reported that the English Premier League club Arsenal could sign French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola this summer transfer window.
The report claims that the French Ligue 1 outfit have offered the goalkeeper to the North London outfit after spending one season on loan with Real Madrid, last season.
Should the Gunners agree to sign Alphonse Areola, they will face competition from Fulham as they are also interested in his signing this summer window.

Alphonse Areola could be a replacement for Emiliano Martinez who is reported to be desperate to leave the Emirates Stadium for a new challenge elsewhere after impressing last season, following the injury of Bernd Leno last season.
It is reported that the Argentina international shot-stopper has refused to sign a new deal with the Gunners and that may mean selling him off to his suitors.
Aston Villa are interested in the signature of Emiliano Martinez and are set to submit another deal after the first bid was rejected by the North London club.
Meanwhile, the North London club have also been linked with the signature of David Raya but Brentford are unwilling to sanction a deal for the goalkeeper.
