Man United have been able to confirm the signature of Ajax star Donny van de Beek and reports claim FC Porto star Alex Telles could be the next new signing this summer window.

It promises to be a very big summer transfer window for Man United but deals have been very slow as they have not been able to agree with their major targets.

However, it is claimed that they have stepped up their interest in Alex Telles who is rated at £26 million so as to have options and bring in competition for Luke Shaw for the left-back position.

Reports in Portugal claim that Alex Telles’ advisor has traveled to England for talks with the Red Devils officials and a deal could be sealed in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, West London club Chelsea are also linked with the one-cap Brazil star, 27, but opted for Leicester’s England defender Ben Chilwell for £50 million while French Ligue 1 outfit are still monitoring the situation surrounding the player’s future.

Man United have been tipped to be favourites for the former Inter Milan loanee and will have a smooth run in their negotiation for his signature. It is, however, understood that FC Porto will not sell him for a fee cheaper than £26 million.
