English Premier League club Arsenal are not lacking in suitors for their midfielder Lucas Torreira who has been tipped to leave the club this summer transfer window.
Last season was not an interesting one for Lucas Torreira in terms of playing time and that could mean him leaving the club as the revamp of the team by Mikel Arteta is set to begin.
Italian Serie A outfit Fiorentina were initially leading in the race for the signature of the former Sampdoria midfielder but they are set to take the back row with the bid coming from their league counterpart Torino.

It is understood that Torino are bidding €24m to land the Arsenal player on a permanent bid which is higher than the offer tabled by Fiorentina and that could be considered by the Gunners.
Respected Italian journalist Alvaro Levrero revealed that the decision by Torino to make an offer of €24m for Lucas Torreira on a permanent deal is to be able to beat Fiorentina who are only interested in an initial loan and an obligation to buy later.
With the North London outfit looking out for funds to seal the signature of their summer transfer signings of Thomas Partey and/or Houssem Aouar, cashing in from Lucas Torreira sale would be a great idea.
