Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta might have delivered a big blow to Newcastle United and their transfer plans after he made a reverse on his decision concerning Gunners player Rob Holding.
The Arsenal defender was on his way to Newcastle United on loan before Arteta made a u-turn on that decision.
As per Sky Sports, Arteta and Arsenal have decided to hold on to the services of Rob Holding for this season.

Rob Holding has been attracting interest from Leeds United and Newcastle United with the player thought to be close to joining the latter on loan before the new decision of retaining his services.
Mikel Arteta and Arsenal have a lot of defenders on their books with the likes of Sokratis Papasthathopoulos, Calum Chambers and Shkrodan Mustafi said to be available for a transfer.
With the £27m transfer of Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille last month, Rob Holding has been pushed further down the centre back pecking order but his manager is still keen to hold on to him.
Rob Holding was a starter in a back three alongside Kieran Tierney and David Luiz as the Gunners won two trophies in one month. The trophies were the FA Cup and the Community Shield.
