Arsenal could still sign up this Barcelona man

English Premier League outfit Arsenal have been heavily linked with the signature of former Liverpool star and Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho for the past transfer window without getting a deal done. This could be their opportunity.

It is reported by Goal that Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona are willing to let go of the Brazilian to the Gunners and Newcastle having learned of their interests.

The Catalans are hoping to engage in this coming summer transfer window as they look to snap up Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez who is valued at £98 million. They will have to raise funds for him and Philippe Coutinho could be a source because his future at the club is no longer guaranteed.

According to reports Coutinho’s agent, Kia Joorabchian is ready to have his player join Arsenal as they have a proven record and history than Newcastle.

It is therefore believed that the Gunners will jump at any opportunity to snap up the 28-year-old but they could be hindered by their lack of funds while an option of a loan deal could be considered as well.

With Matteo Guendouzi expected to leave the Emirates Stadium, the former Liverpool playmaker might just be the perfect replacement.
