Man United Signing Was Wanted By Six Clubs

Manchester United midfielder Donny Van De Beek was the subject of interest from six clubs before he finally made the move to Old Trafford.
Dutchman Donny Van De Beek became the first major signing at Manchester United this summer after he completed a £40m transfer earlier this week.
His agent Sjaar Swark has been very vocal about the ex-Ajax Amsterdam Academy player in the last 48hrs.
According to Swark via Showtime, his client had interest from six of the biggest clubs on the European football scene.

The likes of Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona were said to be interested in the 23-year-old goalscoring midfielder.
The player’s agent also mentioned Arsenal before adding that the Gunners didn’t have the required finances to pull off a move for his client.
Donny Van De Beek gained European recognition two seasons ago as part of the youthful Ajax Amsterdam side that reached the semi-finals of the Champions League. He has been at Ajax Amsterdam for the entirety of his playing career until his move to Manchester United earlier this week.
At Manchester United, Donny Van De Beek is expected to fight for a midfield slot with others like Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Fred, Scott McTominay and many more.
