Philippe Coutinho

This might signal the end of the speculations of Arsenal’s interest in Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho as he has reportedly returned to his parent club, Barcelona for preparations for the new season.

The former Liverpool player seems like a ‘reject’ at Camp Nou, the reason why he was sent out on loan to the German Bundesliga club, Bayern Munich where he hoped to be signed up permanently but that did not happen.

A return to the English Premier League was the next option for Philippe Coutinho after winning the Champions League with the Bundesliga club with Arsenal reported as the likely destination but that might not be happening with the latest development.

The Spanish La Liga outfit have signed up a new manager and he has told Philippe Coutinho of his decision to work with him for the new season and that seems to be working already.

Philippe Coutinho has been assured of regular playing time and a major role in the Barcelona team and that could have convinced him into deciding to return for the new season.

The official announcement has already been made by Bayern Munich, informing the public that Philippe Coutinho has left the club for Barcelona and they also wished him well.
