It is compulsory for some players to leave Arsenal in order for them to bring in other targets this summer transfer window and that is already being planned with a deal for Lucas Torreira as the target.

So far, the Gunners have confirmed the signings of Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes from Chelsea and Lille respectively while two loan players have been made permanent. This makes it difficult for Arsenal to sanction other deals because of the shortage of funds.

It is reported that Lucas Torreira is being wanted by Italian Serie A out Fiorentina but the asking price for the midfielder might be the only hindrance to the deal.

Reports claim the North London outfit will have to force the move by lowering its price demand to be able to make the deal happen within the next few days.

Lucas Torreira had just 29 league appearances for the North London club last season which makes him surplus to the requirement, especially as the club plans to bring back Dani Ceballos on another loan term from Real Madrid.

The deal for Arsenal is to bring in Thomas Paryey from Atletico Madrid and for is release clause of £45 million to be met; the Gunners will have to make do with Lucas Torreira and later Matteo Guendouzi.
