Chelsea have been very busy in the transfer window this summer and they are about to get even busier as per the reports from the London Evening Standard.
The Blues have signed six players for the new season and they are about to make it seven with the imminent signing of Kai Havertz from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
It was revealed that Chelsea are on the verge of completing a club-record £90m for German international Kai Havertz including add-ons.

His signing will take Chelsea’s spending this summer over the £200m mark as the Blues try to regain their place as the best team in the Premier League. Their last Premier League title came under current Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte during the 2016/17 season.
The Blues have already completed deals for Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr, Xavier Mbuyamba, Timo Werner and Thiago Silva.
Despite the transfer splurge, Chelsea have been able to make some shrewd signings with the free transfer deals for defenders Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr.
After the expected signing of Kai Havertz, Chelsea are likely to turn attention to the goalkeeping department with first choice Kepa Arrizabalaga under pressure after an average season in the last campaign.
