Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane has warned teammate Andy Robertson about the threat that new Watford signing Ismaila Sarr possesses.

Mane knows a lot about Ismaila Sarr as they played together for the Senegalese national team.

The two players were part of the Senegal squad that reached the final of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament held in the North African country of Egypt.

Senegal were beaten 1-0 by the Desert Foxes of Algeria in the final of the tournament.

Ismaila Sarr became a Premier League player before the English top flight transfer window ended two weeks ago.

He joined Watford from French Ligue 1 club Rennes in a deal reported to be around £30m.

In a chat with The Athletic, Sadio Mane warned Andy Robertson about the threat that Ismaila Sarr carries before adding that he will have to assist the left-back more to nullify the threat.

Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson have become a tag team on the left side for Liverpool.

Senegalese international Mane was speaking ahead of the Arsenal game at Anfield on Saturday evening.

He would be hoping to play a big role for the Reds as they bid to maintain their top spot status at the end of this weekend’s Premier League games.
