Tom Heaton has just one year left on his contract with Burnley and new contract talks with the Clarets have stalled thereby leading to increased rumours about his future at Burnley.
The ex-Manchester United player has also been linked with Bournemouth and newly promoted Premier League club Aston Villa.
Aston Villa secured Premier League promotion earlier this summer after they saw off Derby County in their Premier League playoff clash at the Wembley Stadium.
Tom Heaton has returned to the top of English football after recovering from a serious shoulder injury that ruled him out of action for almost a year.
