Arsenal’s Thomas Partey hope rises with latest Atletico move

There are still chances that the English Premier League club Arsenal will land the signature of Ghanaian international Thomas Partey before the end of the summer trainer window.
Thomas Partey is the major target for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta for the midfield position as he plans to solidify the depth of his team so as to challenge for the title.
It is understood that Atletico Madrid are in a difficult financial situation and that will inform their decision on the player’s future but it is also confirmed that manager Diego Simeone is unwilling to let go of the player.

The North London club have been told to activate the release clause of the player or forget about a deal as initial cash plus a player offer from the Gunners was rejected.
However, the latest report claims that the La Liga outfit might be on the search for a replacement for the Ghanaian international as they are already in talks with Espanyol for the signature of Marc Roca.
Marc Roca will cost Atletico Madrid the sum of £15 million which will be a major financial benefit if they are able to cash in £50 million from the sale of Thomas Partey to Arsenal.
