Football.london reports that Sam Greenwood will immediately join the Leeds U-23 team to continue his development before finding his way to the first team if he can compete.
Reports claim that the North London outfit will accept an initial fee of £1.5 million from Leeds United but will also take some add-ons that will increase the fee to £3 million.
Sam Greenwood is one of the players with prospects in the Gunners youth set up but as a result of the restructuring that is ongoing, he will join others in the youth ranks to leave the club while some will be sent out on loan deals.
