English Premier League club Arsenal are expected to announce the departure of their teenage striker, Sam Greenwood any moment from now as he is believed to have agreed on a move to Leeds United.

The 18-year-old has been missing from the Arsenal preseason team amidst claims that he is willing to leave the club for a new challenge with a number of Premier League sides pushing to land him.

It is understood that Leeds United have already agreed on a fee with the North London outfit and the player will undergo a medical with the newly-promoted club in the coming days.

Football.london reports that Sam Greenwood will immediately join the Leeds U-23 team to continue his development before finding his way to the first team if he can compete.

Reports claim that the North London outfit will accept an initial fee of £1.5 million from Leeds United but will also take some add-ons that will increase the fee to £3 million.

Sam Greenwood is one of the players with prospects in the Gunners youth set up but as a result of the restructuring that is ongoing, he will join others in the youth ranks to leave the club while some will be sent out on loan deals.
