It is being reported that new Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman is making efforts to convince Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho to return to Spain, stressing that he has him in his plans for next season but the player himself seems not to be convinced.
Philippe Coutinho had a big-money move from Liverpool to Barcelona in 2018 but he was unable to replicate his Reds form with the Catalans and that ensured his movement to the German Bundesliga on a loan spell with Bayern Munich.

He was part of the Bayern Munich team that dismantled his owners by scoring in the game but he is now set to return as the Bundesliga club are not willing to keep him on a permanent deal.
However, Philippe Coutinho is not willing to continue as a Barcelona player despite having words with the new Barcelona manager. He seeks a return to the English Premier League with Arsenal heavily linked and tipped to be his likely destination.
Marca reports that the 28-year-old would prefer a return to the English Premier League than returning to Spain with a host of clubs showing interest in his signature.
According to reports, the North London club are the only team to have made an official inquiry about Philippe Coutinho this summer window.
