French Ligue 1 outfit Monaco are reported to have submitted a bid for promising Arsenal youngster Emile Smith Row but it was rejected by the Gunners.
Emile Smith Row spent last season away from the Emirates Stadium with Huddersfield where he impressed and has since been with the Mikel Arteta team for the preseason.
Before his loan spell, he was with the Arsenal first-team and has proven his quality and prospect which makes it very difficult for the North London outfit to part ways with him.

It is understood that manager Mikel Arteta now has his eyes on Emile Smith Row for the preseason and that will give him the opportunity to assess the attacking midfielder before making a decision over his future.
While Monaco’s bid has been rejected it, is claimed that the Gunners value Emile Smith Row between £10 million and £15 million and will not take anything lower than that.
However, it is very unlikely that the Gunners will part ways with Emile Smith Row on a permanent basis but a loan move for him is very possible this summer window because of the competition that will be in the team in the coming season.
Leeds United and Fulham are also interested in a loan move for Emile Smith Row.
