Man United hope that the statement credited to Bournemouth will ensure their deal for David Brooks this summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have identified the Wales winger as an alternative for England international Jadon Sancho and are reportedly ready to submit an offer before the end of the summer transfer window.

Bournemouth have been relegated to the Championship which makes it very difficult for most of their players to remain at the club because of their wish to play in the Premier League and David Brooks is not left out of this.

However, Bournemouth boss Jason Tindall has stated that the club will not stand in the way of any player if they want to leave but stressed that each player has a price that must be met before any deal can happen.

It is understood that the Red Devils will have to submit a bid of £40 million to sign the Welsh winger as the 23-year-old is valued very high by the Cherries after impressing in the just-concluded season.

The Red Devils are yet to get started with their summer transfer deals but it is expected that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will do some deals before the end of the window.
