Hopes have been reignited for Arsenal in their bid to land Dani Ceballos on another loan deal from Real Madrid as talks have been reopened.

It was earlier feared that Dani Ceballos will not be returning to the Emirates Stadium after returning to the Spanish La Liga following the expiration of his one-year loan deal with the Gunners.

His last games in the Arsenal shirt proves he is the type of player needed by manager Mikel Arteta and that has not been hidden by the Spanish boss as he has told the club to make an effort to secure another loan deal.

Real Betis are also reported to be interested in the signature of Dani Ceballos as they are understood to be preparing a bid for his signature.

However, the North London outfit could now have the advantage as they are reported to be in deep discussions with Real Madrid.

Mikel Arteta will be hoping to have the 24-year-old alongside Granit Xhaka in the heart of the midfield so as to continue to impress and give the same level of performance as what was experienced in the FA Cup finals.

Real Madrid will weigh up their options and what they have on the ground to be able to make a decision and it is hoped that the player is also keen to return to the Emirates Stadium.
