Earlier reports have revealed that Italian Serie A outfit, Napoli are making efforts to land Arsenal defender, Sokratis Papa as they are already at an advanced stage of negotiations.
Another name is now being mentioned as it is now confirmed that the Serie A outfit will not be landing Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhaes this summer transfer window. They now seek to make a move for Arsenal player, Shkodran Mustafi.
Arsenal and Napoli are in the battle to sign the Lille defender but with the latest report that he has already completed his medicals and would be announced in the coming days, the Serie A outfit will now find an alternative.

Shkodran Mustafi is believed to be available for sale as he might not be in the plans of manager Mikel Arteta once Gabriel Magalhaes completes his move as he expected to pair with his Brazilian counterpart, William Saliba in the heart of the Arsenal defence.
The German defender has had a spell in the Serie A outfit when he was with Sampdoria and that could aid his move to Napoli as long as he has been freed by the North London club.
A move for Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis Papa will bring financial advantage to the Gunners but that is only going to happen if Gabriel signs.
