Man United and Chelsea now know that to land their summer transfer target, Declan Rice from West Ham United, they will have to pay the sum of £80 million.
This is after West Ham United legend, Frank McAvennie stated that Declan Rice is worth as much as Man United’s Harry Maguire and should not be sold for anything less.
Both Man United and Chelsea are keen on a new midfielder with Declan Rice showing the big ability that he can succeed in a big side and West Ham United are willing to let him go to be able to cash in to cushion the effect of the coronavirus pandemic on the club.

Frank McAvennie noted that every club is now a selling club and that West Ham United will have to figure out what they want to take for Declan Rice and if they wish to part ways with him this summer window.
Declan Rice has a contract with West Ham United until 2024 which makes them have strong bargaining power and that could be their advantage to land a big fee from his sale.
It is now left to Man United and Chelsea to decide if they can pay a huge amount as £80 million for Declan Rice and if that position is a priority for them.
