Reports in Italy claim that English Premier League club Man United have already submitted a bid for Brazilian international Douglas Costa as they are keen to land him this summer window.
After failing to convince German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund to sign England international winger, Jadon Sancho, the Red Devils have identified the Juventus forward as a perfect alternative.
Corriere dello Sport reports that the Red Devils have already submitted a bid of £27 million for Douglas Costa but it was rejected by the Old Lady as they demand an improved offer.

The report adds that Juventus are willing to let go of the Samba player for £36 million which means the Red Devils will have to improve their offer by adding an extra £9 million to the bid.
Douglas Costa was a key member of the Bayern Munch team under manager Pep Guardiola but the story was changed when he had a move to the Serie A giants and that has reduced his worth, in addition to the injuries he had.
Howbeit, Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to make the decision on whether to splash £36 million on Douglas Costa or not, putting his injury situation in perspective.
