Reports from the British media claim that the English Premier League club, Arsenal have not dumped their interest in Sporting Lisbon wonderkid, Joelson Fernandes and could make an offer for him this summer transfer window.

Daily Stars report that Joelson Fernandes is attracting a lot of interest from several clubs across Europe but that does not stop the Gunners from being frontrunners in his case.

It is reported that in order to block suitors from making offers for him, Sporting Lisbon has been making efforts to hand a new deal to Joelson Fernandes but that is being delayed by his agent Kim Joorabchian, who is more interested in the player’s move to Arsenal.

Joelson Fernandes has a release clause £40 m which is a NO for the Gunners and that could force both parties to consider a player exchange to be able to reach an agreement.

Other clubs, including German Bundesliga outfit, Borussia Dortmund, and Italian Serie A giants, Juventus are named to be very interested in the service of the 17-year-old prodigy.

However, Arsenal will be ready to part ways with either of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Matteo Guendouzi, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, and Mohamed Elneny for a swap deal to ensure the capture of the promising youngster.
