Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is eager to form a potent partnership with new signing Bruno Fernandes when he returns to the squad.

According to ESPN, Paul Pogba has been impressed with the impact of Bruno Fernandes at Manchester United and that the Frenchman can’t wait to play with the Portuguese international.

Bruno Fernandes has been in good form for the Red Devils this year upon joining them from Sporting Lisbon in Portugal.

Manchester United paid an initial fee of £47m for Bruno Fernandes but the fee could rise to the £68m mark with add-ons and bonuses.

He was the Sporting Lisbon skipper before signing for the Red Devils two months ago.

Since his transfer to Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes has scored three goals in five starts for his new team in all competitions.

With Bruno Fernandes in the Manchester United team, the Red Devils have been able to move within three points of Chelsea in fourth spot on the Premier League table.

Manchester United are in fifth position which could be enough for Champions League football next season due to the European ban hanging over the head of their neighbours Manchester City who are in second place on the league table.

Manchester City have been hit with an European ban for two seasons though the club has appealed against the ruling which was handed to them for going against Financial Fair Play rules.

The top four teams qualify for Champions League football next season automatically and fifth position could be open as a result of the aforementioned ban on Manchester City.

For Paul Pogba, the Frenchman will return to Manchester United training this week after recuperating from the ankle surgery he had in January.

Ankle injury has condemned Paul Pogba to just eight games in all competitions till date plus Manchester United have  a strategy to overhaul their midfield.
