Arsenal and Man United have been suffering shaky back for the past seasons and that could be settled for the Gunners with the Brazilian who is almost certain to leave the French outfit this summer window.
The Red Devils and the Gunners are not alone in the chase of the Lille defender despite having the edge as Napoli and Everton are also being linked.
However, Man United are not willing o give up on the chase despite the latest report as they hope to have a bid submitted for Gabriel Magalhaes in the coming days.
Gabriel Magalhaes has been valued for about £27 million which the two clubs are willing to pay.
