There is no doubt Man United’s failure to win the signature of Ferran Torres from Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia is a big one.
This is going by the statement credited to Man City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain when he showered praise on the 20-year-old and exposed all of his qualities that would have been beneficial to the Red Devils who were also interested.
It was a two-team race between the two Manchester teams but the light-Blue side won the face by securing the signature of Ferran Torres for £20.8 million.

In exposing the qualities of Ferran Torres, the Man City chief stated that he is very quick, a direct and can create space with a singular movement, stressing that the young lad is a match-winner.
He noted that with a manager like Pep Guardiola, it is expected that Ferran Torres gets better and delivers great performance in the English Premier League.
Meanwhile, Man United are still in the struggle to convince German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund for the sale of England international winger, Jadon Sancho.
