Emerging reports indicate that Arsenal could be set to benefit from the sale of out-of-favour midfielder Mohamed Elneny with Turkish outfit, Trabzonspor considering holding talks with the Gunners.

An insider in the Turkish outfit told Turkish-Football that the Egyptian international is a major target and they are confident of sealing a deal for him in this summer transfer window.

According to reports, talks have been held between the two clubs, and they are set for formal talks that will help finalize a deal as long as the Gunners are willing o let go of the player.

Trabzonspor are reportedly keen as they seek a replacement for Badou Ndiaye who has been on a loan deal spell with English Premier League club Stoke City and his return is unlikely.

Mohamed Elneny has two more years, going by his contract with the North London outfit but he has been out of favour for selection and was made to spend a year away from the club with Besiktas.

His departure will enable the Gunners to cash in to be able to sanction other deals as there is a need to source for funds to be able to engage in the summer transfer window for more additions.
