Reigning European champions Liverpool have made an offer to sign Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir according to the report from Turkish media outlet Karadeniz Gazetesi.
It was disclosed that the Reds want to sign the £17m goalkeeper and that they have already offered a fellow shot-stopper plus cash in exchange for him.

Loris Karius is in his second season at Besiktas as a loan signing from Liverpool and he could stay with the Turkish team as the German international has no future at Liverpool.

The Liverpool loanee has conceded 18 goals in the league this season in comparison with Reds transfer target Cakir who as picked the ball out of his net 16 goals.
Ugurcan Cakir has two clean sheets, while Loris Karius has six clean sheets.
Loris Karius signed for Liverpool from Mainz 05 in the German Bundesliga in 2017 and the Besiktas goalkeeper went on to make a lot of errors in goal including two of the three goals conceded by him during the 2018 Champions League final.
The Reds were beaten 3-1 by Real Madrid who went on to win a third successive Champions League titles.
