Kalidou Koulibaly

Two English Premier League clubs, Liverpool and Man United are reported to be in the race for Italian Serie A outfit, Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly ahead of the summer transfer window.

This is not the first time the defender will be linked with a move to the Red Devils as well as the Reds team and it has continued with more speculations this term.

Man United and Liverpool are keen on reinforcement for new defenders. The Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team hopes to challenge for titles in the coming season while the Jurgen Klopp team seeks to continue their dominance in the coming season.

However, the price for Kalidou Koulibaly has been named to both teams for negotiation to begin after Napoli president Aurelio Di Laurentiis stated that £81 million must be on the table for the defender to move.

While speaking to Sky Italia, he stated that Kalidou Koulibaly is a great person and player, stressing that it would be sad to lose him when it is time for him to say goodbye.

The Napoli president, therefore, added that no bid has been received for the player, naming the £81 million that must be on the table for any announcement to be made.
