Man United were earlier reported to be leading in the race for Leicester City left full-back, Ben Chilwell but that seems to have been lost with Chelsea papering on the scene.
The Blues and the Red Devils are keen to bolster their defence and the Leicester City defender is an option for both clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
From every indication, the West London outfit is winning the race for Ben Chilwell with The Mirror reporting that he is set to hand a transfer request to the Foxes for a move to the Stamford Bridge.

Leicester City failed to make it to the Champions League after they were defeated by Man United. Ben Chilwell will be hoping to take advantage of that as he wants that level of European experience in the coming season.
Frank Lampard will now have the service of the left full-back if an agreement is reached with the club on his release clause before the summer transfer window is closed as his contract with the Foxes runs until 2024.
However, the West London outfit will not have the service of Ben Chilwell any cheap as the England international left full-back has been valued for £80 million.
