Porto midfielder speaks on prospect of playing at Arsenal

FC Porto midfielder, Danilo Pereira is being linked with a move to England to join Arsenal and he is already talking about his prospect at the club under manager Mikel Arteta.

Reports claim Danilo Pereira will be leaving FC Porto for a new challenge after impressing and he has his preferred choice amidst interests from a number of clubs.

With Arsenal expected to have some transfer dealings, especially now that they risk missing out of the Europa League, they could be forced to hand funds to manager Mikel Arteta for some transfer deals to be able to bounce back next season.

However, Danilo Pereira who is one of the names on the target list has claimed to like the style of play at the Emirates Stadium and is confident he can fit into it.

The 28-year-old admits loving to play in Porto but he seeks a new challenge with a better league like the Premier League which has informed his decision on his wish for a destination.

Danilo Pereira grew up watching Patrick Vieira playing in Arsenal, naming him as one of his idols which informed his decision to play for the North London outfit.

Mikel Arteta will now have the final say on a deal for Danilo Pereira who has been tipped to be available for £16 million.
