Former Arsenal manager Unai Emery could be set for a return to management job after claims he is set to agree on a deal with Spanish La Liga outfit Villarreal ahead of the coming season.
Unai Emery joined the Gunners team from French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain after manager Arsene Wenger left the post at the Emirates Stadium but he failed to make an expected mark and was sacked by the club.
However, he would be returning to the dugout if personal terms are agreed upon with the Spanish La Liga outfit.
The position at Villarreal is vacant after the La Liga club sacked Javier Calleja with a new manager expected to take over in the coming season.

This development means Unai Emery will be managing a club in his country home for the first time in four years after leaving some years ago to France.
Spanish newspaper Marca and AS have both reports that Unai Emery has agreed and signed a pre-contract with Villarreal and an announcement is imminent.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have since moved on with manager Mikel Arteta who was in the contest for the position before Unai Emery won.
Mikel Arteta has been hailed for doing a good job and is expected to keep the job for the coming season especially after claiming he would be rebuilding the team.
