Fans of the English Premier League club Chelsea will now be forced to cool off after the statement by Liverpool legend Graeme Souness on their new signings Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
The summer transfer window is yet to be fully opened and Chelsea have already secured two big signings- striker Timo Werner and attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech from RB Leipzig and Ajax respectively.
Since they were confirmed as Blues players, there has been a focus on the two with analysis stressing that they are going to immediately lift the Frank Lampard team. Fans have been in a very light mood and can wait to start a new season.

But they have been humbled by the Liverpool legend that was plain to state that more should not be expected from the two signings despite coming with a good reputation.
According to him, Alvaro Morata also came with the same reputation but they were left disappointed, hence there is a need to drop the hype on the players and give them the opportunity to settle well at the club.
Howbeit, the Frank Lampard team is expected to be injected with more new players as more transfer dealings are still expected when the summer transfer window is fully opened.
