The Spain international has impressed and has been a major part of the Arteta team. His creativity has been missed, especially with the fact that Germany international midfielder, Mesut Ozil has not been consistent in the team.
Mikel Arteta is now keen to work with Dani Ceballos in the coming season and is reported to have told the club management of his decision to seek for his stay on a permanent basis.
The Gunners cannot boast of financial strength but they are boosted by the fact that Real Madrid are also affected by the impact of the pandemic which means they will not be able to keep Dani Ceballos at the club and will seek to offload him.
Arsenal will now approach Real Madrid for negotiation with the hope of striking a deal this summer window.
