If emerging reports are to be true, Man united will no longer land the signature of Kalidou Koulibaly as he might be heading to the other side of Manchester.

The Red Devils have long been interested in the service of the star player and have failed in several attempts in the past.

A renowned sports journalist, Duncan Castle has stated that Kalidou Koulibaly will be leaving his club, Napoli at the end of the season, and manager Gennaro Gattuso is aware of this fact.

He added that Kalidou Koulibaly is keen to leave the Italian Serie A for a new challenge and the Premier League is his preferred destination. Man United are known before now to be interested in his signature but Chelsea and Man City have now indicated an interest in the deal.

Duncan Castle stated the player favours a move to Man City than any other club as he wishes to work under manager Pep Guardiola. This adds to the fact that Man City could be looking for options at the center-back which makes him a good fit because of his strength.

It is also understood that Napoli will be looking to earn about £70 million from the star defender but it is unclear if Man City will be ready to invest such an amount for the Napoli player.
