Egyptian international Mohamed Elneny could be on his way back to Arsenal after a year away from the club on loan with Turkish side Besiktas.

The Turkish outfit seems not to be satisfied and convinced with the quality of the Arsenal man and is, therefore, not considering the option of a loan extension or a permanent buy. More to his unsatisfactory performance is the fact that his fee would be high as well as his weekly wage.

It is reported that manager Sergan Yalcin would bring in another option as he is already trailing Mehmet Topal, a 31-year-old defensive midfielder, preferring him than the Arsenal man.

Although, Mohamed Elneny’s case at the Turkish outfit might not be concluded as it is reported that the club president is interested in his service and a deal is likely.

However, we will wait until the end of the season to know what becomes of the Arsenal midfielder who has a contract with the Gunners until 2022.

There are already claims that the North London outfit will seek a buyer for the Egyptian midfielder as manager Mikel Arteta will not be in need of him, especially if a deal for Dani Ceballos is made permanent in this summer transfer window.
