Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been in the good books of the Red Devils fans since taking over from manager Jose Mourinho.

Solskjaer picked up from where he stopped as a club legend in his playing days to deliver satisfactory performance since his reigns. So far, analysis of his performance as a coach has slid in his favour.

That is also continuing with their latest win against Sheffield United after Anthony Martial delivered a superb performance with a hat-trick in the game to return the club to winning ways. The win was the first the Red Devils have enjoyed since the return of football after the necessary break as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

More to the win and the goals by the France international forward is the fashionable performance by Nemanja Matic. The 31-year-old was decent in the game, completing 95 percent of his passes, and recovered possession eight times.

This has won the heart of the fans with many of them trooping to their various social media platforms to sing his praise and request for more with more opportunities.

There is no doubt that Solskjaer will incur the wrath of the fans if he decides to keep away Matic from the team in subsequent games especially if they fail to win again.

With the win and Matic’s performance, United fans will only wish for more to be able to mount pressure on Chelsea for a Champions League spot.
