One of the most surprising transfer links of the summer is the reported interest of Manchester United in Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey. He has been touted to be a transfer target for the Red Devils in a possible swap deal with wantaway Manchester United player Paul Pogba.
French international Pogba is wanted by former club Juventus and Ramsey could be a part of that deal as per several media outlets from Italy after just one season at the club. Welshman Ramsey ended his lengthy career at Arsenal last summer to join Juventus on a free transfer but he has not had a very good introduction to Italian football partly due to niggling injuries.
Manchester United were interested in him before joining Arsenal in 2008 but their latest interest in the player is somewhat surprising especially since he just teamed up with the Old Lady. Clubs have been hit financially by the Coronavirus menace thus opening up the possibility of several swap deals when the transfer window opens in the coming weeks.

A lot of potential swap deals have been discussed all over Europe and the Aaron Ramsey-Paul Pogba swap deal is a possibility. Pogba won’t have an issue with a return to Juventus but the same can’t be said about Ramsey who has serious ties with Arsenal after a very good 11-year career at the club.
Paul Pogba became a world class player at Juventus where he spent four highly successful years between 2012 and 2016. He has not been able to reprise that form at Manchester United where he has just two years remaining on his contract.
Interested clubs could have a big struggle to finance a move for him financially which is why the swap deal is a good option albeit a more complicated one.
Transfer Ratings for Aaron Ramsey to Manchester United in a swap deal with Paul Pogba: 3/10.
