Manchester United have moved a step closer to securing a dream signing according to the various media outlets in the United Kingdom. The Red Devils have been on the trail of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon and it is looking like they will get their man.

The Premier League giants are closer to the signing of Jadon Sancho after the two parties agreed financial terms thus paving the way for Manchester United to discuss transfer fee with German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund. This is likely to be the most difficult part for the Red Devils with Borussia Dortmund still keen to keep their star player at the club for one season more at least.

Jadon Sancho has lit up German football since his transfer to Borussia Dortmund from Premier League champions Manchester City. The England international had to leave Manchester City in search of first team football and it has been the best decision of his career till date.

Borussia Dortmund hardly paid £10m for his transfer when the winger moved to the club from the Premier League three years ago and his sensational form has seen his prize money increase by ten folds at least. Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in Jadon Sancho who is rated at around £100m or even more at the moment.

Manchester United are in pole position for Jadon Sancho with personal terms already agreed. Let’s examine how the player will improve the existing Red Devils squad:

1. Goals – Jadon Sancho has been a consistent goalscorer during his time at Borussia Dortmund and that would be expected at Manchester United if they sign him this summer.

2. Assists – Apart from goals, Jadon Sancho also has a habit of creating goals for others. He has scored at least 10 goals and 10 assists in each of the last two seasons.

3. Quality – Manchester United don’t have a quality winger like Jadon Sancho. He is definitely an upgrade on their best winger Daniel James.
