Premier League giants Manchester United have concluded plans to offer top transfer target Jack Grealish an improved contract offer for the player to join them this summer.

Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish is a transfer target for the Red Devils ahead of the summer as reported by various British media outlets in the past weeks.

According to The Athletic, the £80m-rated player is interested in a big move from Aston Villa to Manchester United.

Jack Grealish has been the main man at his boyhood club this season but his quality has not been enough for Aston Villa to move away from the relegation zone on the Premier League table.

The Sun revealed that Manchester United are ready to triple his wages as they try to secure his signing from Aston Villa.

Jack Grealish earns £50,000 on a weekly basis at Aston Villa and Manchester United are ready to improve his salary to £150,000 per week.

It was also revealed that the Red Devils want to pay a transfer fee of £60m for the player.

Aston Villa were not in Premier League action this weekend and the outcome of other league games saw them drop into the relegation zone. They started the weekend one spot outside the relegation zone before wins for rivals Watford and West Ham United condemned them to two spots further down the table with an outstanding game at home to Sheffield United still to be played.

The Midlands club missed out on Premier League football because of their Carabao Cup final commitments. Jack Grealish was unable to fire his team to Carabao Cup triumph after they lost to Manchester City in the final.

Premier League champions Manchester City retained the Carabao Cup title for another season after they saw off Aston Villa 2-1 in their final clash. The Citizens have now won the competition in each of the last three seasons.
